About me
Hej, I’m Zoe Fee Kristensen — artist and storyteller from Northern Germany and Denmark.
Nature is my greatest muse: her shapes, her rhythm, and her quiet wonders find their way into my paintings.
Yet my true motivation to paint lies deeper — in the dialogue with myself.
Through painting and writing, I enter my inner world: my fears, unresolved conflicts, and questions.
And sometimes, I even discover answers I didn’t know I was looking for.
Painting as a Dialouge
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been telling stories.
It never feels as though I invent them – rather, I discover them: out in nature, in her curious shapes and quiet compositions, or deep within myself.
Painting has become a bridge for me – one that carries these hidden stories from the depths of my subconscious into the light of my conscious mind.
When I intuitively pour colors onto the canvas, shapes begin to emerge – and in them, I later recognize animals, plants, or other figures. Almost always, words follow: stories in which these figures face my inner themes.
Through their eyes, I often find new perspectives – and sometimes even solutions to my own conflicts.
Painting and writing help me look closely: to make the unseen visible, to understand what feels incomprehensible, and to bring a sense of order to what seems impossible to untangle. The images that emerge become reminders – they keep whispering the stories and preserve what I was able to learn from them.
I hope my paintings can also become small reminders for you – that you may find pieces of yourself within my colors and words, and that they accompany you a little way on your own journey.
With love,
zoefee
